How to upload a Canva Design into Avery Design & Print

Sticker Template for Avery 6873 2″ x 3.75″ labels

If you have purchased or are interested in purchasing a rectangular 2″x 3.75″ sticker template compatible with Avery Stickers, such as our mini wine bottle templates, follow the instructions below.

Included in your purchase are 3 files: one is a pdf link to Canva of a single sticker design, a PNG image file for printing onto stickers, and a sheet design for printing onto US Letter size paper and cutting out. Choose the method you prefer:

Option 1: Printing as a sticker -Edit in Canva and upload to Avery

If you wish to edit your sticker design in Canva, open the pdf provided in your purchase that links to the Canva design and add your details. If you need help accessing and editing your Canva design, please see this post: How to access an editable Design in Canva.

Remember: You only need to create one sticker design even though multiple will be printed.

Once you are happy with your design, download it as a PNG file.

Go to Avery Design & Print Online, select “Start Your Design” and select your template number from the options. For a 2″ x 3.75″ design, this is template 6873.

Can I print on Other Unbranded Stickers of the same size?

This should work fine provided they are the same size, but it is easy to check this before printing by selecting a different template and previewing what the design will look like.

Once you have selected your template number, upload your saved PNG from Canva. Check everything looks good before selecting Preview and Print.

You can then download a pdf version of your sticker templates to print at home onto the corresponding sticker sheet. Now skip below to the section “How to Print Your Sticker Design” for a final video guide.

Option 2: Printing as a sticker – Edit in Avery Design and Print Online

If you prefer, you can create and add your bachelorette details in the Avery software instead of Canva.

Go to Avery Design & Print Online, select “Start Your Design” and select your template number from the options. For a 2″ x 3.75″ design, this is template 6873.

Once you have selected your template number, upload the PNG that came with your purchase. Please note that the font choices available in Avery may differ from Canva.

Now you are ready to customize your design. Please follow the guidelines in this official Avery video in order to do this:

If you need guidance on how to add a QR code in the Avery design software, please watch the instructions below:

Option 1 & 2: How to print your sticker design

Whichever option you chose, once you have finalized your design, check everything looks good before selecting Preview and Print in the Avery Design Software.

You can then download a pdf version of your sticker templates to print at home onto the corresponding sticker sheet.

Please follow the guidelines in this official Avery video to ensure all your settings are optimised in order to get your desired finish.

Option 3: Printing a sheet of labels onto paper

If you don’t have any sticker paper and would prefer to print onto paper, cut out and attach your labels with glue, select the sheet option from the PDF. This will take you to a Canva template to fit US letter size paper.

Simply edit the text in Canva as outlined in the steps above, then duplicate it so you have multiple copies of the label on the sheet.

Download as a PDF file, then print according to your device’s instructions. Your labels are then ready to cut out and stick on.

You’re Done!

We hope this post has helped you understand how to create and customize your design using Canva and Avery Design and Print.
