1. Gather Your Supplies:

   • Balloon Decorating Strip or Fishing Line: These tools help in assembling the balloons into a garland.

2. Inflate the Balloons:

Materials Needed:

• Base Material: 2 pieces of foam board in your chosen size.
• Lights: Globe string lights or LED bulbs.
• Tools: Utility knife or jigsaw, drill with appropriate drill bits, ruler, pencil, hot glue gun, and sandpaper.
• Paint or Finish: Spray paint or acrylic paint in your desired color., or just leave white.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Design Your Letters:
   • Sketch the letters onto the foam board.
2. Cut Out the Letters:
   • Use a utility knife for foam board to cut out the letters. Ensure smooth edges by sanding any rough areas.
3. Create Depth (Optional):
   • For a 3D effect, add side panels using additional strips of foam board. Attach these to the edges of the letters using hot glue.
4. Make Holes for Lights:
   • Mark evenly spaced points where you want the lights to go. Use a sharp pencil to push holes into the foam board slightly smaller than the bulb bases to ensure a snug fit. If they need making bigger, you can adjust using a thicker pen pushed through the hole such as a Sharpie marker.
5. Paint or Decorate:
   • Apply paint or any desired finish to the letters. Allow them to dry completely before proceeding.
6. Insert Lights:
   • Push the bulbs through the drilled holes from the back, ensuring they fit securely. Tape or glue the wiring at the back to keep it organized and out of sight.
7. Display Your Marquee Letters:
   • Place your illuminated letters in your chosen location and plug them in to enjoy the ambiance they’ve created.

I want to try and create memorable drink stations for each of our parties. Whether it be the look of the set up or the drink options provided. This was our first party so I learned a few things for the next; like having a beautiful tray under the ice bucket to collect condensation snd that the herb lemonade and cucumber lemon water were both such a huge hit, have three times as much. The herb lemonade recipe was requested multiple times through out the party: A mixture of fresh basil, rosemary, dill, fresh lemon slices, blueberries and organic premade lemonade. Add San Pellegrino to add a bubbly element. We also added a bottle of Grey Goose to the side so our guests who drank could make it into a refreshing summer cocktail.
